Health & Wellness: Handwashing
Knowing how to properly wash your hands is an important skill that is a main component of early care and education programs. Handwashing times are built into our routines and schedules and have become second nature in our Skip-a-Long Centers.

During the COVID-19 health crisis, handwashing has become even more vital and we are paying extra attention to how to teach this skill to the children in our care. We have created a new and improved How To Wash Your Hands poster that will be hung in all classrooms and practiced with children of all ages.

Feel free to print it out and use it at home as a handwashing guide with your children!
Governor's Visit to Skip-a-Long
Did you see the news? Illinois’ Governor Pritzker visited our Moline Skip-a-Long campus on June 10, 2020! Although he was unable to visit the classrooms, he was able to hear all about the great work being done at all of our Skip-a-Long campuses.
We appreciate the Governor taking time to visit our program and learn more about why early care and education is so important to children and families!
Learning Activities - Through Text!
Are you looking for activities to do with your little one?

Text “BornLearning” to 95577 to receive 3-4 messages per week with activities to do with your child 5 and under. From helping out in the kitchen to creating a time capsule, your child will have fun and learn important life skills.
