Enrich your life with us!

Issue 130

Greetings !

June was another busy month at HSS! Thank you so much to Stephen Britton for coming to share his knowledge and time with us during our last Lunch & Learn before the summer. We had a wonderful afternoon learning all about the “Characters” of Headingley’s History.

We wrapped up Grandfriends Outdoors at the end of June as well. This 4 week intergenerational nature based program with Bright Beginnings Educare and Canadian Parks & Wilderness was a huge success! We hope to offer a version of this program again in the near future. If you are interested in participating, please contact us. For those that participated, feedback & suggestions are always welcome! Please read on for a full program recap.

Some of our regular programming will slow down over the summer months; please read on for the full list of what’s being offered. As always, the goal of HSS is to assist older adults in the community to live independently by providing programs and services. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome. You can contact the office via phone (204) 889-3132 ext. 3 or email seniors@rmofheadingley.ca

Take care,

Kristie & Margo
