In the next few months, we have several FREE programs planned at libraries in communities throughout southeast Michigan, and we invite you to join us at one or more of these events. Below are two highlighted events. See our entire event list on our Event Calendar.
Cooking Demo in Ann Arbor: Interested in learning how to cook delicious, plant-based food? Don't miss Chef Rhoda, A.K.A. The Platinum Chef at the Ann Arbor District Library on Sunday, July 27 at 1pm. She is making Sauteed Curry Chickpea & Organic Quinoa Pilaf Wraps. Samples will be provided to attendees (while supplies last). RSVP here to attend.
Health Talk in Livonia: Want to improve your health? Come to the Livonia Civic Center Library on Monday, August 18 at 6:30pm to hear Kelly Wilson's presentation on Lifestyle Practice. Kelly is a registered dietitian nutritionist and board-certified Lifestyle Medicine practitioner from Trinity Health. She will discuss the six pillars of lifestyle medicine and the steps we can take every day to prevent, treat and reverse chronic illness, and live healthier lives.
