San Francisco Salary History Ordinance
San Francisco employers will be required to inform their employees of their rights and post a copy of the notice in an obvious location and to any labor union representing San Francisco employees. If you need a copy of this notice, please let us know.

California’s New National Origin Regulations
Effective on July 1st, California strengthens its Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) regulations by expanding rules against harassment, discrimination and retaliation on protected classes, including national origin. The new regulations protect both applicants and employees and strives to promote equality in the workplace. For example, English-Only policies are deemed unlawful for it merely promotes business convenience.

Minimum Wage Increases
The following cities and counties have increased their local minimum wages.
  • Emeryville
  • City of Los Angeles
  • County of Los Angeles (unincorporated areas only)
  • Malibu
  • Milpitas
  • Pasadena
  • San Francisco
  • San Leandro
  • Santa Monica
