Some may wonder about the value of a college education and whether it’s really worth the investment of time and money. Absolutely! Simply put, college educated individuals make more money than non-college educated individuals. "Education pays" according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Well, what about trade schools? Trade schools are for seeing an immediate correlation between the specific trade/discipline (electrician, plumber, automotive mechanic, dental hygienist, MRI technician, etc.) and money.
As far as college goes, I look at it as a bridge to “adulting”. Young adults attend college to gain knowledge, but essentially, they are also networking at a basic level with friends, peers, and professors AND getting to know how to navigate in a world outside of their home environment.
My hope for students is that they graduate on time and be hirable for a job they want and enjoy. PCCI's job is to maximize a student’s pathway to this success.
