The Starry Messenger is a dramatic, fun-filled adaptation of Galileo's short treatise Siderius Nuncius. Galileo (dressed in 17th century costume) will lecture on his most recent discoveries made using his newly devised spyglass. Throughout the presentation your esteemed scientists are actively involved in experiments and demonstrations, with ample time at the end for questions from curious onlookers.

Jazz on a Summer's Day is a concert film set at the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival in Newport, Rhode Island. The film features performances by Jimmy Giuffre, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Stitt, Anita O'Day, Dinah Washington, Gerry Mulligan, Chuck Berry, Chico Hamilton with Eric Dolphy, Louis Armstrong with Jack Teagarden, and Mahalia Jackson.

Bubbles, bubbles, everywhere! Enjoy a half hour of nothing but bubbles and fun music. Bubble trays will be spread around Town Hill and in the gazebo! In the event of inclement weather the program will become a dance party inside the air-conditioned Community Room.

Wednesdays

Join Miss Chelsea for fun with your little one! Music and play for babies and their caregivers. Ages 0-16 months with an adult. Join us in Story Hour Room (through the big door inside the kids' picture book room)! All toys are washed and sanitized after each session.

Thursdays

Join Miss Allison for outdoor storytime fun (and maybe a surprise or two!). Get moving with songs, books, and music on Town Hill! Bring a blanket to sit on. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be held in the Community Room inside the library.
