| | City Will Enforce Its Ban on Illegal Fireworks | |
Maximum enforcement against illegal fireworks will be in effect during the July 4th season. The city’s illegal fireworks enforcement team will be actively patrolling for those who violate the illegal fireworks ordinance, and this includes the use of drone enforcement. Residents can now report illegal fireworks online through Rancho Cordova Connect or by calling the Rancho Cordova Police Department non-emergency line at 916.362.5115.

Help lost, stray and wild animals stay safe and comfortable while in care by donating clean towels or blankets and new pet items to the city's Animal Services Division. Drop off donations during business hours at 2880 Gold Tailings Court, or purchase and donate supplies online.

Mail Protection Tips
Mail theft continues to affect the region, including the City of Rancho Cordova, and RCPD continues to do what it can to prevent it. Although the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) handles the primary reporting and investigation responsibility for mail theft, RCPD frequently assists in these investigations. Residents are encouraged to report all mail theft to USPIS at https://www.uspis.gov/report.
