Family Nutrition on a Budget
Dear Walkers,

Thank you to the 25 participants who joined us on Saturday for our July Walk with a Doc KIDS TIME!

Special thanks to Dr. Lillie Hidaji for her talk on family nutrition on a budget and to the Go Mt Charleston Volunteer Coordinator Ashton for leading the hike and teaching us about the 7 Leave No Trace Principles. It was fun learning about the invasive weed Verbascum thapsus (aka Cowboy Toilet Paper) and how to safely remove it.

Today's newsletter has links to many talk-related resources. Scroll to the end for information on our August event. All families in Nevada are welcome to register to receive the video recording of our event even if you cannot join us in person for the walk.
