Intro to Kayaking

This class is taught by paddling enthusiasts that will get you engaged in paddling and feel comfortable on the water! Kayaking is a great workout while also having the option to just sit back, relax and float along with the current of the river.

Chair Yoga

Many traditional yoga poses can be replicated as sitting yoga poses or yoga stretches using a chair. Stretch your body, relax your mind, increase your flexibility and relieve your tensions. No experience necessary to participate, and no need to get up and down from the floor!

I’m so excited to offer Chair Yoga. Many have asked about an alternate version of yoga and here it is! Did you know yoga poses can be modified in a way that can accommodate each individual? Let the experts teach you how to fish from a kayak! Learn tips and tricks of balancing a small boat, trolling to cover water as an alternative to casting and using the river’s elements to help land a fish.

Most of our summer camps are held during the day but this fun 4-day camp is different because it is held in the evening at Hickory Knolls. We will learn about nocturnal animals, the night sky, campfire building and much more!

Pajama Party Mini Dance Camp
