Created by a teacher for you little ones, Brain Bins bring 3 days worth of preschool activities into your home! Lesson plans, art projects & supplies, book suggestions, songs and games for your whole family are waiting for you to explore. New themes are available each Monday, and once released, remain available for the rest of the summer.

Why I chose this program:
These bins are filled with ideas to help your child practice many of the fine- and gross-motor skills they might receive in a preschool classroom, but are collected to help you do them at home in a fun and interactive way, without having to do the planning yourself. We will include enough supplies for siblings to play and create together. I think this is a great way for parents to spend some one-on-one time with a child, or to bring the whole family together.

Chalk artists of all ages are encouraged to use your driveway as your canvas and get creative. All artwork must be appropriate for public viewing. Submit your photo with the title and artist's age to lyuill@stcparks.org by July 11. Photos will be posted on the district's Facebook page on July 13 for voting. The photo with the most likes will be announced at 4pm on July 17 and the artist will win a gift card to a local restaurant.

52 playing cards have been dispersed throughout the St. Charles parks and facilities! The cards are various sizes and have a SCPD logo in the middle to identify it as an official playing card. When you see a card snap a selfie with each one! Try to get the best 5-card poker hand. The winning hand will win a gift card to a local restaurant.

Why I chose this program:
This program is a great way to visit your local parks! It's like iSpy with a twist - trying to get the best poker hand! Whether you're going for a walk with your family or riding your bike through the parks, it's an added bonus to play a game while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
