Why I chose this program:
River View Miniature Golf has been around for 50 years and we are hosting these extra fun giveaway days to celebrate! You can't go mini golfing anywhere for only 50 cents these days and that used to be the price of admission back in 1971. Come by to check out all the other giveaways and enjoy an afternoon outside enjoying the sunshine and hopefully getting a hole-in-one!

Tai Chi and Qi Gong are centuries old practices that involve certain postures, gentle movements,  mental focus, breathing and relaxation. Often known as moving meditation, most of the work is performed while standing and taking small steps. Today, it is widely used for health and wellness, and can be practiced by almost anyone in any situation.

Lynne Yuill
Adult Activity Supervisor

Why I chose this program:
Tai Chi is a wonderful fitness option for older adults and is often recommended by physicians as a way to improve balance and stability. Tai Chi and Qi Gong offer lots of health benefits to the body, mind and spirit. Participants enjoy coming twice a week for the most benefit, however there is the option to come once a week  to accommodate your schedule. Our instructor Bill is always looking for new faces to join his classes!

SWIM the Crayfish Canal at Otter Cove, BIKE a closed parking lot course in the park and RUN the trails/grass. Race distances vary per age group. This is a Chronomix timed event. Awards and goodie bags presented to all participants.

Thousands of kids around the world participate in triathlons each year. Youth participation represents one the fastest growing areas of the sport today. Splashes, Dashes & Spokes is the perfect event for kids of all abilities, and it's a great way to stay active and have fun. Friends, family and race watchers can cheer on the athletes while they compete. It's perfect for beginner and experienced competitors.
