Hansel Subaru in Santa Rosa, CA, is making a big impact right in their own "front yard." Hansel's Green Team rounded up twenty-one volunteers to help clean up Corby Avenue, the street on which the dealership is located (see the video). The team met at 7am on August 14 to pull weeds, pick up trash and clear debris from the area nearby the dealership. Their efforts earned them the Extra Mile Award, which recognizes outstanding performance.

Cypress Coast Subaru in Seaside, CA, joined forces with the Surfrider Foundation Monterey Chapter to help clean up and improve local beaches.
Cypress Coast Subaru is proud to support the local Surfrider Foundataion Monterey Chapter in their environmental goals and activities.
Surfrider's efforts -- across 1,230 beach cleanups with 15,864 volunteers -- resulted in the removal of "nearly 170,000 pounds of trash and recycling to ultimately reduce the flow of plastic pollution into our oceans."
