Teen Crafternoon: Galaxy Yoga Mats
Tuesday, July 9 from 3-4pm
We'll take an ordinary yoga mat and paint an out of this world design.

Celebrating 50 Years Since the First Moon Landing
Wednesday, July 10 from 7-8pm
Join us for a presentation that will review some of the trivia, local connections and the drama surrounding NASA's fledgling efforts, and the race to the moon. We'll also discuss some of the science that came out of these missions. Then, we'll review some of NASA's current efforts to explore another tantalizing rocky terrestrial body - Mars - and how efforts to return to the Moon afford a prelude to manned missions to the Red Planet.

Weather permitting, attendees will even have an opportunity to step outside and view the moon for themselves through a telescope.

This presentation will be given by M.J. Johnson, a NASA Solar System Ambassador. This discussion does not require a technical background, is open to all ages, and should be accessible to broad audiences with an interest in space exploration.

Friday, July 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 9 from 3-4:30pm
Need time and space to be creative? Join us at the Library for an afternoon to relax and create. Work on your craft projects, color, draw, write, plan and more with others. We will have a selection of basic supplies including: paper, glue, markers, colored pencils, stickers and more. Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials and projects.

This free program is open to adults and teens entering grades 6-12. Sign up is not required.

Teen Crafternoon: Galaxy Gear
Tuesday, July 16 from 3-4pm
Turn a plain t-shirt, article of clothing, tote bag, or pillowcase into something cosmic.

This free program is for teens entering in grades 6-12.

Sign up is required. Participants will be given one pillowcase but are encouraged to bring up to TWO of their own items. Items can include: shirts, totes, socks or other small cloth items to transform. Darker colors prefered.

Teen Movie Night: Ralph Breaks the Internet
Wednesday, July 16 from 6:30-8:30pm
In Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet, Ralph and Vanellope risk it all be traveling to the world wide web - which may not survive Ralph's wrecking. Snacks will be served. Rated PG.

This free program is only for teens entering into grades 6-12. Teens interested in seeing the movie with younger siblings should attend the Family Movie Night showing of Ralph Breaks the Internet on Tuesday, July 9 at 6:30pm.
Teen Program: Perler Planets
Friday, July 19 from 1-2:30pm
A returning favorite - perler beads! Participants will get a chance to create their own planet, alien, or anything else with these fuse beads.

A Tour of Tufts Wildlife Clinic
Tuesday, July 23 from 5:30-6:30pm
50 Willard Road
Have you ever wondered where wild animals go when they are sick or injured? Tufts Wildlife Clinic is the place where nearly all of New England's wild species can go when they need to be seen by a doctor. Come visit the clinic and get a virtual tour: you can meet our patients, see what is done behind the scenes, and learn how you can help wildlife right in your own backyard!

This free program is open to all ages: children, teens and adults. Sign up is required.

Teen Movie Night: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Wednesday, July 24 from 6:30-8:30pm
Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask. Snacks will be served.

This free program is only for teens entering into grades 6-12. Teens interested in seeing the movie with younger siblings should attend the Family Movie Night showing of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:30pm.
Boston Children's Hospital Bloodmobile
Saturday, July 27 from 10-3pm
Stop by the Library and hop on the Boston Children's Hospital Bloodmobile. A short 30-minute whole blood donation can help as many as 4 children.

To donate you must be in good health and weigh at least 110 lbs. In MA, 16 year olds may donate blood but are required to have a consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to donating. Print a bring a copy of this form if you need it. If you are 17 and older, you just need to bring a form of photo ID with you.

When the appearance of a Light Fury dragon coincides with the darkest threat they have faced, Hiccup and Toothless must journey into a hidden world to discover their destinies. Snacks will be served.

Demogorgons and Zenomorphs: The Horror that Influenced Stranger Things
Thursday, August 1 from 7-8:30pm
Netflix's hit horror/fantasy series owes a lot to the creators that came before it. From 80's horror films, to classic horror fiction, this presentation examines what inspired the chills in "Stranger Things."

Teen Movie Night: Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel takes you on a spectacular adventure from the 90s, tracing the path of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes. When a galactic war reaches Earth, she meets young agent Nick Fury at the center of a maelstrom, leading to her ultimate destiny as an Avenger! Snacks will be available.

Teen Program: DIY Stationary Supplies
Tuesday, August 13 from 2:30-3:30pm
Get ready for back to school by making your own stationary supplies. Project choices include: feltie paper clips, duck tape pouches and pens and more.

This free program is for teens entering grades 6-12. Sign up is required. All supplies will be provided.

Museum of Science Rocket Workshop
Thursday, August 15 - Sessions at 2pm, 3:30pm, and 5pm
Create an air rocket that launches across the room and engineer a way for a payload to return safely to Earth. This hands-on workshop explores the science behind rockets and space exploration. Use your imagination to plan, build, and test your own design.

This program is appropriate for adults, teens, and children (entering Kindergarten and above). Sign up is required.

This program will be at the Grafton Municipal Center, 30 Providence Road, in the Gym.

Stargazing Program
Sunday, August 25 from 6-8pm
A stargazing event with the Alrich Astronomical Society and Willard House and Clock Museum. More details to come!
