♪ SCOTT’S MUSIC NOTES ♫

Hello Trinity Community!

After wrapping up June and we transition into the Summer months, I hope to still see many of you at our Summer Services in the downstairs Fellowship Hall. My Southern inner-self is very thankful to have the AC with us in that space. 🙂

Here is a quick look at what music things are happening at Trinity in July:

  • Closing Melody - “This Is My Commandment” - (Listen the original version HERE)
  • July 6th - I will share with you a hymn solo from my childhood for the Special Music, as well Communion themed music
  • July 13th - Special Music Violin Solo from Hai Wei Wang
  • July 20th - Special Music from the Handbell Choir
  • July 27th - TBD

Remember that most of our congregation service music in these services will be selected from the Chalice Hymnal. We will have plenty of copies for everyone all around the Fellowship Hall. Handouts will be given for any songs not found in that hymnal. Please let me or a Worship Committee member know if you need accommodations, such as enlarged copies of hymns.

Until We Meet Again,

Find God in the Music,

Scott Arnold (he/him)

Minister of Music

Trinity Church of Northborough

OUTREACH TEAM

As summer approaches and many will be on vacation mode, Trinity Church outreach

team will continue to help where need presents itself:

  • Rose and Mark continue to thrive with the financial and physical support of Trinity

Church.

  • Food Pantry participants continue to have food choices because of the weekly

generosity of Trinity members.

  • Community Meals continues to help with food insecurity and fellowship because

Trinity opens its doors each Wednesday evening. Trinity’s next opportunity to

serve will July 9th. Watch for the sign-up genius for your opportunity to help.

  • Trinity’s opportunity to serve at Worcester Fellowship’s Thursday Café will

resume in October. Hungry homeless/housing insecure are served lunched every six weeks because of Trinity members.

The Outreach Committee continues to look for new opportunities to help. If you have

ideas, please let one of our members know.

The Outreach Committee wishes everyone a relaxing summer.

FAITH FORMATIONS

There will be a "prayground" area set-up in Fellowship Hall during worship services, and the "Kids Corner" room, aka the nursery, will be open as well.  "Children's Church" will resume in the fall.
