CCR&R is excited to launch 1Core SuperSub, a program designed to connect qualified early childhood professionals with a network of child care centers and certified family child care providers across the region that are in need of staffing assistance.

Substitutes are NOT employees of CCR&R. Substitutes are self-employed and accept jobs through the 1Core SuperSub app.

CCR&R’s Child Care Leadership Support Group is designed specifically for leadership team members in group or family child care programs operating in Waupaca, Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet, Manitowoc, Green Lake, Fond du Lac, and Sheboygan Counties. 

Provider Event: Paint Party!

All child care staff from family and group programs are invited to join CCR&R for a fun and relaxing paint party! Choose from a variety of paint-by-number canvas designs while enjoying charcuterie-style snacks. We will provide all painting supplies, so all you need to bring is your inner artist.

When: Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Where: Child Care Resource and Referral Office, 1001 W Kennedy Ave in Kimberly

Summer Dates for CPR/AED and

Pediatric First Aid Training

Beginning August 1, 2026, Pediatric First Aid will become a required health and safety training for all child care providers. For additional details, view DCF’s April Tuesday Talks recording HERE.

CPR/AED

• Tuesday July 14th from 6:00-9:00 pm

All CPR/Pediatric First Aid sesions are in person at CCR&R Kimberly.

Cost: $25 per person, per training. Payment: Cash or check only, due at the training. Credit cards and invoicing are not accepted. Pre‑registration is required—no walk‑ins.Trainings are valid for 2 years.

Resources for Families

Positive Solutions for Families: Parenting Workshops    

Dates: Wednesdays July 22, July 29, Aug 5, August 12  

Time: All Sessions 6:00-8:00 pm

Location: CCR&R Office, Kimberly

Positive Solutions for Families provides information to families on how to promote their children’s social and emotional skills, understand challenging behavior, and use positive approaches to develop their ability to use skills in every situation.Two adults welcome per family!

Free Dinner and onsite child care provided!

Participants who complete all 4 workshops will receive a resources basket.

Families can enjoy play-based learning activities and time to connect with other parents and caregivers, at different park locations in Calumet County.  

Get a stamp on your Play Group Passport at each date you attend. Each family with 3 or more stamps will be entered to win a prize in August. Register for play group dates online HERE
