Tune Into Healing Through Music
TUNED-IN: The Soundtrack of Your Life is a free, two-day interactive workshop led by educator and storyteller Molly Lord, M.A. that explores the powerful connection between music, psychology, and personal growth.
Through guided activities and reflection, participants will use the music they love to gain new insight, reduce stress, reconnect with their goals, and discover practical tools for navigating life after cancer. Whether you're looking to regain your sense of direction, build resilience, or simply enjoy a meaningful weekend with others who understand the survivorship journey, this workshop offers a creative and supportive experience.
Event Details
- Dates: Saturday & Sunday, September 26–27
- Time: 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (attendance for both days is encouraged)
- Location: Classic Homes Corporate Office, Colorado Springs
- Cost: Free (includes lunch and refreshments)
- Who Can Attend: Women who are at least three months post-treatment, regardless of cancer type or where they received care. Participants may also bring one female support person.

World Lung Cancer Day Open House
Join the White Ribbon Project for a special World Lung Cancer Day Open House on Saturday, August 1, from 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. in Greenwood Village.
Drop in anytime to paint white ribbons that will be distributed across the U.S. and around the world to raise awareness and honor those impacted by lung cancer.
This free, family-friendly event includes food and drinks and is a meaningful opportunity to connect with others while supporting the lung cancer community.

CHWs, Chronic Disease, and Training: Discussion on Rural Transformation Grant Opportunities (Part 2)
Hosted by The Alliance and Partners -- July 9th, 12 pm MT
Please join The Alliance of Colorado Community Health Workers, Patient Navigators, and Promotores de Salud and several partners for a showcase of current Community Health Training programs in Colorado, and an exploration of connections with the current Rural Health Transformation Program grant opportunities and beyond. This webinar will feature the CHW training programs at the Metropolitan State University, the Project Protect Promotor/a Network, the CU Multidisciplinary Center on Aging, and Fort Lewis College. Note: the Patient Navigation and Community Health Worker Training Program (PNCT) was featured in the first webinar about the RHTP opportunities on June 29 (see below for link to slides and recording).
This webinar will be a follow-up session to the webinar hosted by The Alliance on June 29th which featured the work and opportunities of programs focusing on chronic disease navigation including The Alliance, PNCT, CCSP, and CPC Community Health.

Building Resilient Systems Towards Cervical Cancer Elimination Webinar Series
The International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) ACCESS: North America initiative aims to advance cervical cancer elimination by addressing persistent access inequities and translating clinical evidence into actionable policy. As part of this effort, IGCS is hosting a three-part webinar series. Each webinar addresses a core pillar of elimination: treatment, screening, and HPV vaccination. Sessions highlight evidence-based strategies, policy and program innovations, and approaches to advancing equitable access. Topics include timely diagnosis and patient-centered care, HPV-based screening and self-collection, and improving vaccination coverage beyond school-based programs.
Together, the series emphasizes the importance of coordinated, equitable, and resilient health systems to achieve cervical cancer elimination.

CCDI Symposium
CCDI Symposium registration is now open! At this event hosted by the National Cancer Institute, connect with researchers, clinicians, data scientists, advocates, and other leaders working to accelerate progress in childhood cancer research and care. This event will highlight the foundational work accomplished by CCDI so far and explore opportunities to accelerate discovery and improve outcomes for children, adolescents, and young adults (AYAs) through an interoperable data ecosystem and innovative use of AI.
