June/July walk leader update
Walks are happening!
We are pleased to let you know, we now have several group walks happening throughout the Province. These include Berwick, Windsor, Sackville, Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Kentville, New Glasgow and more coming soon.

Here’s an “action shot” from the first group walk at Lake Banook in Dartmouth on June 23rd and a group shot from the Berwick group the next day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Should my walk continue all Summer?   
Answer: If possible, yes, please continue walking all Summer. We are trying to have co-leaders for all our walks, that way if you are away, the walk can still happen. If you decide it’s better to stop your walks until September, that’s fine, but just let me know so I don’t promote the walk.

Question: Which forms do I need to collect from participants and send back to Hike NS?
Answer: “Welcome to your first walk” and “Participants agreement and waiver”

If you haven’t had a chance to get your walk planned yet, but would like to, don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

If you are on Facebook and want to join our private leaders group, please request to friend me by searching Catherine Tetrault Droesbeck, then once we are friends I will invite you to join the leaders group. This group is meant to give leaders a chance to share with each other - questions, stories, pictures. I realize not everyone is on FB, so we will continue with several different communications methods.
