Wellness Incentive Program Update

This fall, there will be changes to the Wellness Activities that faculty and staff complete to become eligible to receive the $25 Monthly Wellness Incentive in 2026. Due to budget constraints, we will no longer offer biometric screenings through Quest Diagnostics. If you have been a regular participant in the biometric screening process at the university, this is a good time to call your Primary Care Provider to schedule an appointment for a screening (as well as an annual exam if you haven’t had one yet this year).

In lieu of offering biometric screening on campus, we will offer a Biometric Screening Attestation Form as one optional Wellness Incentive activity. A Dental Check-up and/or Cancer Screening Attestation Form will also be available for completion. Further details on the fall Wellness Activities will be shared in the August Wellness newsletter.

Cultivate Kindness with Good Nurtured

After participating in the 2-week preview of Good Nurtured – a program from the organization that we partner with for wellness challenges like Walktober – this past December, we have decided to offer the full 6-week program this summer as part of the Expressions of Care initiative!

Good Nurtured raises awareness of the mental, emotional, and physical health benefits of kindness, civility, and graciousness by encouraging participants to select and engage in various "Good Things" activities that are the most important to them. Each Good Thing that participants record online within the platform/app adds a new element to a whimsical, animated scene.

Good Nurtured will take place from Monday, July 7 through Sunday, August 17 and is open to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff. Registration is open now and will remain open through July 14.

When we lead with courtesy and consideration, goodness can spread beyond colleagues and friends to our organization and community. Join us to help spread positivity at the university.

We'll relax into a deeper balance of energy and calm. And then, we'll reach into inner peace and joy, to reach up and out into the world.
