Building Connections, Driving Growth: Chamber in Action Recap for June

Meineke of Denton Ribbon Cutting

held on June 1st

We were excited to welcome Meineke Car Care Center of Denton to the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon cutting on June 1. Chamber members and community partners joined us to celebrate their opening, meet the team, and learn more about the services they bring to Caroline County.

Our members WCTR Radio broadcast live on location, adding great energy to the event, and Shore Sweet Treats provided delicious refreshments for everyone who stopped by. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the shop, connect with staff, and see firsthand the commitment Meineke brings to customer service and quality care.

We’re thrilled to have Meineke as part of our Chamber community and look forward to supporting their growth and partnership here in Caroline County.

Women in Business

June 2nd- Love in Action at the Senior Center

Our Women in Business Network gathered on June 2 for a memorable Lunch & Learn focused on Intergenerational Leadership & Building Community Connections. Hosted in partnership with the Caroline Senior Center & Adult Medical Day Care, the event was held at AMDC’s welcoming space, where attendees enjoyed an uplifting afternoon of connection, creativity, and conversation.

Guest speakers Holly Trice and Arlene Stevens led an engaging discussion on intergenerational leadership, offering thoughtful perspectives on how women across all ages can collaborate, communicate, and strengthen community ties.

In the spirit of celebration, guests enjoyed a lovely tea party and created their own fascinators—a fun, hands‑on activity facilitated by Marissa Evans and Victoria Cocoran of Compass Hospice, who generously sponsored the craft. The afternoon also featured a delicious lunch prepared by Chesapeake Culinary, adding a special touch to the experience.

The event brought together women leaders from across Caroline County, fostering meaningful connections and highlighting the power of collaboration across generations. We are grateful to our partners and attendees for making this Lunch & Learn such a warm and inspiring gathering. Join us September 15th at Positive Strides for our next lunch & learn!

New Member Meet & Greet and Protecting Your Assets

Workshop June 10th

On Wednesday, June 10, the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce hosted the latest session in our Small Business Workshop Series: Protecting Your Assets. Local business owners, new members, and Board members joined us at the Chamber office for an informative and engaging morning focused on strengthening financial awareness and safeguarding business operations.

Danielle Forrest and Chris Sloan of Shore United Bank led the workshop, offering practical guidance on loan readiness, fraud prevention, and strategies to protect business assets in today’s evolving financial landscape. Their expertise sparked thoughtful conversation and provided attendees with actionable steps they can implement right away.

The session also offered valuable networking time, giving members the chance to connect with one another, meet new Chamber partners, and build relationships that support business growth throughout Caroline County. Light refreshments added a welcoming touch, and the atmosphere was both relaxed and energizing. We are grateful to Shore United Bank for sharing their knowledge and to all who attended. The Chamber looks forward to continuing this workshop series and providing meaningful resources to help our local businesses thrive.

Triple Brand Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting on June 20, 2026

The Chamber was proud to celebrate the grand opening of Vinyl Porch Enclosures, along with BCO Construction & Home Services and Shade Sail Systems, on Shore Highway on June 20th. Chamber President Dave Harper was onsite to conduct the ribbon cutting and represent our organization.

Guests enjoyed exploring the new showroom, meeting the teams behind these three Best of Eastern Shore 2026 winners, and experiencing the wide range of home and outdoor living solutions now available in one location. The open house continued throughout the afternoon, with T&D Fusion serving their signature Korean BBQ and adding to the festive atmosphere.

Congratulations to all three businesses on this exciting milestone. We’re grateful for their investment in Caroline County and look forward to seeing their continued growth on Shore Highway.

Mix & Mingle with Preston Hyundai June 23, 2026

We had so much fun at our Annual Chamber Block Party!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last month for our Annual Chamber Block Party. It was a fantastic evening filled with music, great food, and community connection. Members and guests lined Market Street to enjoy Dirty Sodas from Once Upon a Bar, LLC, dinner from T&D Fusions, and sweet treats from Shore Sweet Treats, all while DJ Tank kept the energy high.

Our vendors brought wonderful displays, conversations flowed easily, and the atmosphere was exactly what makes this event one of our favorite Chamber traditions.

We were thrilled to see so many members in attendance supporting one another and celebrating the start of summer together.

Your participation and enthusiasm are what make events like this shine. Thank you for being part of a memorable evening — we can’t wait to do it again next year.
