In a couple of months we'll be opening up an additional reading/writing/small event room on the third floor next to the Whitridge Room. (Our Head Librarian and Controller are moving to an alternate space on the fourth floor.)

Bad news: Intermittent noise from the building project around the corner from us continues at least through this month.
Good news: Holidays aside, we're open regular hours through the summer. Less construction happens on evenings and weekends, so take advantage of some quieter hours 5-8 PM Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, plus 11 AM - 5 PM Saturdays/Sundays.
Also: Earplugs available at the circulation desk.
We threw a reception for members who published books between January and June of this year. Here's the list .

Ashley-Luisa Santangelo divides her time between our Cataloging Department and the Lesbian Herstory Archives, who are celebrating their 45th anniversary alongside the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. More on this fascinating corner of history here .
