Farm Fresh Berries and Produce
July is all about produce on the Oregon Farm Loop! Berry season is in full swing and salad greens and all the fixings are in abundance. Sweet corn and tomatoes will be available later in the month and peaches start near the end of July. Find these and lots of other goodies this month at the farm stops listed below.

For U-pick, please call ahead or check the farm's social media for picking updates. Fields can be temporarily closed for a day or two to allow for crop ripening.

As you prepare for to visit U-pick farms, we encourage you to read this article sharing tips on what to bring for the family outing!

On the Farmlandia Farm Loop
  • Fiala Farms - Later on this month, Fiala Farms opens with a wide variety of produce picked for you including corn, pole beans, beets, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, and more.
  • Lee Farms - Berries and cherries, oh my! Including blueberries, loganberries, raspberries, blackberries, and seasonal berry desserts. So many goodies in one stop.
  • Liepold Farms - Raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries are all available this month. Throughout the summer, additional produce such as peaches, apricots, Asian pears, apples, plums, and Italian prunes may be sold at the stand.
  • Milwaukie Farmers Market - Large selection of locally produced fruits and vegetables available on Sundays every week.

On the Marion Farm Loop
  • Bauman's Farm & Garden - Marionberries, raspberries, boysenberries, Tayberries, Loganberries, blackberries, greens, and lots of other vegetables. Sweet corn, tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, and peaches later on this month.
  • E.Z. Orchards Farm Market - Blueberries, blackberries, Marionberries, raspberries, greens, cucumbers, and lots more. Tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet corn, and peaches later in July.
  • Fordyce Farm Inc. - A family-owned berry and produce farm with u-pick and fresh picked fruit and vegetables!
  • French Prairie Gardens & Family Farm - Greens, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, blackberries, Tayberries, kotata berries, Marionberries, boysenberries, blueberries, and lots of other summer produce. Later summer vegetables and fruit to come as well!
  • Koch Family Farm - Fresh-picked berries and produce available. Kids welcome!
  • Meyer Peach Orchard - Peaches: Red Haven will be ready end of July and Veterans about 2 weeks later. Call 503-362-7153 for updates.
  • Minto Island Growers - Carrots, greens, cucumbers, peppers, and much more summer produce. Open Thurs-Sun from 9-5. More info here
  • Nottinghamshire Farms - Broccoli, carrots, cherries, green beans and more all available for pre-order here or at their fresh farm stand.

On the South Clackamas Farm Loop
  • MoonRidge Farms - Certified organic blueberries, seasonal summer produce and Yacon in a peaceful setting.
  • Morning Shade Farm & Nursery - Blueberries, currants, raspberries, boysenberries, Marionberries, apples, and vegetables. U-pick berries have started! Homemade fruit popsicles in several flavors are available all summer.
  • Willamette Valley Melon Company - Farm stand opens July 1st! Pick up fresh produce at the self-serve farm stand. Save the date for the "Watermelon Crawl" event on August 6th.

On the Yamhill Farm Loop
  • Bernards Farm - Enjoy U-pick produce: strawberries, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, squash and more fresh produce all summer long!
  • Wallace Farm - U-pick and fresh picked blueberries available for your family

Power of Produce
July 2nd, 10am-1pm

Flying Bee Ranch will be sponsoring the Power of Produce (POP) kids booth at the Salem Saturday Market on July 2nd. Kids can earn POP Dollars to spend at the Market with select vendors on things like nuts, berries, produce, and HONEY! Come down and try free samples of local, raw honey comb from 10am-1pm on July 2nd at the Salem Saturday Market.
Yoga in the Lavender Field
July 30 - 9-10a

Wayward Winds Lavender is partnering up with Boho Yoga Studio to bring you yoga in the lavender field!

Farm Fun Days!

We will have a limited series of dates and fun here at the farm for you to come play, see the animals and hang out from 9am-2pm! Activities bracelet includes: unlimited bounce pad, unlimited slide, unlimited hay mazes, unlimited hayrides {adult ticket required for hayride. children must be accompanied by adult on hayride}, unlimited barrel wagon ride.

Dinners in the Garden
July 8 + 9, 15 + 16

Each week our garden-inspired prix fix menu will feature four courses, from a bread board with fresh-baked focaccia and with warm olives all the way through dessert. The menus are inspired by seasonal produce from the garden, enjoying the best that our region has to offer.
Our sommelier has created an optional wine pairing to enhance the meal and will make additional suggestions. Your choices may be made prior to your dinner.

Strawberry Shortcake Stand

July is an exciting time at E.Z. Orchards, our Shortcake Stand is open and serving fresh Strawberry Shortcakes! Other berries will start to become available in July as we get more sunshine, and hopefully by the end of July we will have Fresh Peaches from our Orchard. Plants and seeds are currently on sale, so make sure to get your garden going now! Make sure to visit E.Z. Orchards to get fresh and locally grown fruits and vegetables to serve on your table this Summer!
Summer Concert Series Kick Off
July 9th, 6-8pm

Minto Island Growers’ Summer 2022 Concert Series kicks off with Rich McCloud performing on Saturday, July 9th from 6-8 pm on the Farm Stand stage. Tickets are only $5 for adults - kids are free! Wood-fired pizzas, farm salads, fresh berry milkshakes, beer/wine/cider and more will be available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased by stopping by the Farm Stand during open hours or calling 503.931.6840.
July 3rd Festival + Firework Show
July 3rd, 4-11pm

After a two year hiatus, The Oregon Garden is excited to announce the return of our July 3rd celebration. One of our largest and most popular events, guests are invited to join us for a day of fun including live music, food and more, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.

Artisan's Festival
July 16th, 9am-4pm

Located on the lawn and in the orchard behind our store. Grilled lunches available for purchase. Traveling Taphouse on site from 11am-4pm.
Talented artists, crafters, trades-folk, and musicians from the Salem and surrounding areas will be featured at our festival. Shop and support your local artisans! Admission is free.Come on out for u-pick blueberries and enjoy our event while you're here. 
Oregon Lavender Season
Lavender season in Oregon is in full bloom!

Lavender is a diverse product that can be enjoyed in many forms, including fresh or dried bouquets, culinary products, fragrance, or health products.


Visit the farms featured below to enjoy the fields in bloom and purchase fresh lavender or handcrafted lavender products.
On the Farmlandia Farm Loop
  • Barn Owl Nursery - Featuring over 100 varieties of lavender, purchase fresh or dried bouquets, both culinary and fragrant lavender products at their country store.
  • Park Place Perennials - 16 varieties of lavender grown for essential oils, fresh-cut or dried bouquets, and plants for your nursery. Try their lavender-infused honey!

On the Marion Farm Loop
  • E.Z. Orchards - On-site lavender field and products featured in the farm store and at the shortcake stand, such as lavender vanilla shakes.
  • The Oregon Garden - Lavender is featured in the Medicinal Garden and the ornamental Axis Garden.

On the South Clackamas Farm Loop
  • MoonRidge Farms - U-pick lavender and products include essential oils, hydrosol, culinary products, and personal care products.

On the Yamhill Farm Loop
  • Wayward Winds Lavender - U-pick lavender, plants, refreshments, and handcrafted products. Explore the lavender maze or display garden with over 100 varieties.
