Hope for the Future
Pandemic catchphrases include different ways of saying we must band together during this time of crisis to take care of each other and protect those who are most vulnerable….this includes pregnant mothers and their unborn babies!

Human lives are valuable regardless of the way they were conceived, regardless of race, gender or possible special needs.  We need to reach out to women who are struggling with unplanned preganancies, and share information about resources and places they can go for help.

All women have different needs. Birthright professional counselors listen to each mother’s unique situation and provide the calming focus needed to help them make a plan for their future. Most of the women we see want to keep their babies, but they are being told they can’t or they shouldn’t especially during this challenging time. We believe every woman has a right to have their baby, and every baby has the right to be born. We continuously see how women's lives are changed in positive ways because they chose to have their babies. This is what motivates the professional counselors and staff at Birthright STL to continue, and it’s why we have hope for the future!

Video Chat

Birthright STL counselors continue to see an increase in calls from women with concerns and anxieties about being pregnant or having a baby during this pandemic. Most of the calls are via phone or video chats, so we are grateful for technology and to the women for reaching out for help before they make a life-changing decision.
