Learn With Me Day:
I Dig George

Wednesday, July 28
Historic Kenmore
Learn With Me Day is an on-site program (aligned with VA SOLs), good for students in grade levels K-6th. Participants will engage with archaeological procedures and learn the importance of the process to historical research.

Working at a simulated archaeological site, students learn about gridding the dig site, sifting for artifacts, and then washing, identifying, and mending artifacts. They will be challenged to think critically about the artifacts they uncover during their dig and leave with a new-found knowledge of what can be discovered under the ground.

Purchasing tickets in advance is required. Space is limited.
