Community Cat Corner

TNR surgeries remain FREE for Mecklenburg County residents, but we are swiftly approaching our 1,000 cat goal! Only 239 FREE TNR surgeries remain! Stop by our shelter to borrow humane traps to get community cats in your neighborhood spayed or neutered before time runs out!

Finding Cats and Kittens? Did you discover a litter of kittens in your yard? Don't throw them out! Mom most likely left them there because she felt your yard was safe while she hunts for food. Learn more about the best way to help these tiny kittens on our website by clicking HERE.

You Drink, We Donate - YAP Membership Meeting @ NoDa Brewing Monday, July 22 | 6:30 - 8 pm NoDA Brewing Company | 2921 N Tryon Street Come check out our Young Affiliated Professionals group, YAP and learn about how to get involved with our organization! NoDa Brewing will be featuring HSC as the night's non-profit group for "You Drink, We Donate" and $1 of every pint sold will benefit HSC! Paws on the Patio Saturday, July 27 | 4:30 - 7:30 pm Fuzzy's Taco Shop | 9805 Sandy Rock Place, Unit 8 You and your furry friends are invited to Paws on the Patio at Fuzzy's Taco Shop! Live music begins at 5pm. Furry pals are welcome to relax on the patio area and listen to live music while $1 from each draft beer or frozen drink purchased during the event will benefit HSC. SAVE THE DATE: Straw Day 2019 Saturday, December 14, 2019 The Humane Society of Charlotte | 2700 Toomey Avenue Mark your calendars to help HSC deliver warm straw to our community members this December! Straw helps prep outdoor dog houses for chilly weather and keeps things dry. We'll be looking for 90 volunteers to help out - bonus points if you have a pick-up truck or trailer to help haul straw!
