Emergency Economic Recovery Grants
Governor Scott has signed into law Act 115, "An act relating to creating emergency economic recovery grants" which provides $70 million in economic recovery grants to businesses and non-profit organizations that have suffered 50% or more revenue loss due to Covid-19. An additional $96 million is anticipated for these economic recovery grants once Governor Scott signs H.966 into law.
The Agency of Commerce and Community Development, along with the VT Department of Taxes and other state agencies, will be administering these economic recovery grants to eligible businesses and organizations. The application process opened on Monday, July 6th. It is a first come, first served basis, so apply as soon as possible. Beaulieu Place Conference Rooms

The conference rooms at the Central VT Chamber offices, also known as Beaulieu Place, are available for meetings and events again!
Two conference rooms separated by a fold away wall can host meetings and events from just a few people to over 40. Centrally located in a prime space just off exit 7 from I-89, with free parking, coffee/tea, LCD projector, speakerphone and more, what more could you ask for in a conference room space?!

Lost Nation Theater Announces Postponement
of its 2020 Season
After careful consideration, LNT's Board of Directors have made the difficult decision to postpone the opening of their season and suspend all programming until this fall when they will reopen with Ragtime. Other shows scheduled for this year will be held in 2021 instead. In the meantime, LNT has launched its own Patreon page where you can view shows from the archives, such as David Budbill's Judevine, Song for my Father, Shakespeare comedies as well as some exclusive content! Norwich University Fundraising Recognized with Industry Award from CASE
Norwich University's $100 million bicentennial campaign "Forging the Future" has received a 2020 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Educational Fundraising Award after having raised more than $121 million! CASE, a non-profit council, awarded Norwich University with this honor for the first time on June 18th. Much more than the amount of funds raised determines the winner of this award.
