Webster Neighbor:
In my five and a half years as Webster Town Supervisor, I've learned that town government is always at work—and I love it! This summer is no exception with the Town amid a Comprehensive Plan update, as well as publicly kicking off Webster's first townwide revaluation in over twenty years.
Both of these projects are significant undertakings and are important as Webster looks to its future. As such, the Town must work with our community throughout these projects.
Comprehensive Plan
As the Town of Webster builds its Bicentennial Plan, we are engaging with residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to create a sustainable plan that will serve Webster for years to come. The Town has recently extended the deadline on its Interactive Map and Community Preference surveys through July 30 to maximize the feedback we receive.
More information on this project is available on our project page, Webster2040.com.
2027 Revaluation
While project completion is approximately two years away, the Town of Webster is kicking off its 2027 Revaluation project now! It is of the utmost importance for the Town to be a partner through this process to dispel misinformation and provide support on what a reassessment is and why it is important.
The Town of Webster will host its first community meeting and Q&A on Tuesday, July 22 at the Webster Public Library. Before this meeting, residents may submit questions they'd like answered about the project through our online portal.
We look forward to partnering with you on these projects, as well as the many other projects and programs here in Webster. As always, please feel free to contact me by email or by calling 585-872-7068.
Sincerely,
Tom Flaherty, Webster Town Supervisor
