Repairing the world, tikkun olam , starts at home. Right now, even if it feels uncomfortable, it's important for families to talk about race and racism together.

Staying home this summer? Try these 12 easy activities -- each one has a Jewish theme or twist.

This is a list of books featuring diverse characters, intercultural friendships, and messages about important Jewish values like repairing the world and respecting differences.

It's summer, and that means playing outside, barbecues, and, of course, cool treats .
