Greetings from your team at LPEA! A big thank you to the participants and donors at this year's LPEA and IBEW Local 111 Annual Golf Benefit Tournament. We hosted 28 teams and raised a record $20,000 for Rise Against Violence! Thank you again and we hope to see you next year for more fun.

LPEA pilot project uses drones to survey overhead utility lines
In August LPEA will launch a pilot project using drones to inspect our utility lines. If successful, this effort will help improve the safety and reliability of LPEA’s operations, while also cutting surveying costs.

LPEA approves $31,269 in grants to local non-profits in Q2 2021
The La Plata Electric Round Up Foundation Board approved a total of $31,269 in grant funding to local non-profit organizations at its meetings in April, May, and June of 2021.

Josh brings many years of mechanic experience to the team at LPEA, having worked for two separate vehicle dealerships in Durango and Farmington. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, grilling, and working on classic cars. He is currently restoring a '78 Ford pickup.
