Lots of opportunities to work and play on Earth Day 2019!

Earth Day is Monday  April 22, with many events and activities planned for West County.

Most events will be held on Saturday April 20, with the exception of El Cerrito, which is holding its Earth Day work parties on April 13. See details below.

This is a great way to contribute to meaningful environmental projects and have fun, helping our community with our friends and neighbors.

Saturday April 13 

El Cerrito:  Earth Day Celebration
What: Variety of community-wide work
projects, free lunch
Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Lunch at noon.

Saturday, April 20

WhatCreek and swale cleanups, park beautification, petting zoo, music, art, food.
Time: Cleanup: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.;  Celebration: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Swale Cleanup, North Richmond Farm, 323 Brookside Drive

Richmond: Groundwork Richmond and Richmond Main Street Earth Day tree planting, speakers 
Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Where: Meet at the corner of Macdonald Ave. and 12th St.

What: San Pablo Creek clean-up, children's activities, info booths, light breakfast, lunch
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
