Summer's flying fast, but there's plenty left to do in July!

End The Summer With A Bubble Blast! The Bubble Bus is coming! Celebrate the end of summer with us at the Summer Reading Wrap-Up Party, July 29 at 2:00 pm.

If bubbles aren't for you, try some pop art instead! You can make collage art with New York based artist Michael Albert using common items like cereal boxes and other upcycled materials. Join us AFTER HOURS on July 29 at 6:00 pm. See our full calendar of events for all the details.

Walk and Talk Book Club Join your favorite librarians and Springfield Park District staff as you stretch your legs and talk about your favorite reads! Enjoy an early morning stroll around Washington Park on July 9th, or explore the Lost Bridge Trail on July 18th.

Black Women Authors Book Series Join us for our new book club, discussing books by Black women authors. We are creating this space for Black women readers to talk about their experiences and books that reflect them. Read along and discuss Passing by Nella Larson, July 26 from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm
