Anoxic-Epileptic Seizures (AES)

Our forums have been buzzing this month but one posting that stood out has reminded us that little mention has been made recently of Anoxic-epileptic seizures (AES ).

These are epileptic seizures triggered by syncope or RAS (reflex anoxic seizures).

STARS RAS booklet carries full information on this here

If you feel your child may be experiencing anoxic-epileptic seizures then you should discuss this with your GP, along with sharing our information about possible symptoms and diagnosis.
