Get to Know Your New Committee Members:
We began introducing our new Zone 1 Committee Members last month and will continue the next couple months. These members are already hard at work in our zone! Stay tuned next month for more introductions.

Meg Black
Meg, of Deer Isle, Maine, is a judge and also operates and trains out of a small stable. She's been involved in the industry for more than 40 years. She is a USHJA Certified Trainer. As a committee member she hopes to get more people in her home state to participate in USHJA by spreading the word about membership and the programs. Outside of the industry, Meg enjoys the outdoors, hiking and traveling. If she could have dinner with any equestrian, she'd choose Denny Emerson because she likes his sensible approach to riding.

Amy Eidson
Amy, of Wakefield, Rhode Island, has been involved in the sport for 45 years and is a hunter, jumper and equitation judge as well as a trainer. She is co-chair of the New England Equitation Championships and Senior Director and past president of the Rhode Island Horseman's Association. Her goals as a Zone 1 committee member are to be a representative for members in the zone and bring ideas from members to the committee. In her spare time she enjoys traveling. If she could have dinner with any equestrian, she would choose Joey Darby or Jimmy Lee because of the great stories they could share.

Charles Jacobs
Charlie, of Boston, Massachusetts, has been involved in the industry for around 40 years. He is an amateur jumper rider and successful show jumper who has been part of the the US Team in the two of the last three World Cup Finals. He is a co-founder and president of the Palm Beach Masters, and his children also participate in the sport. Outside of the industry, he is the CEO of Delaware North Boston Holdings, which includes TD Garden, Boston Bruins, New England Sports Network and SportService. If he could have dinner with any equestrian, he would choose Marcus Ehning to ask him about how he fosters such a wonderful relationship with his horses.
