Among the Keynote Speakers:

Deborah Cox, a WBENC-certified business owner who most recently played Glinda in the Broadway production of “The Wiz.” A native of Toronto, Cox became the first Black woman inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2022. The former backup singer for Céline Dion and icon in the Black and LGBTQ+ communities is best known for her pop and R&B music, including “Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here,” “We Can’t Be Friends,” “Absolutely Not” and others. At her keynote fireside chat on Thursday, Sept. 26, Cox will share her latest journey: the launch of French wine label Kazaisu. A tasting of her new rosé will cap the first day of the conference.

Adrianne Fekete, founder of I Am Unbreakable® Global Media, which publishes a magazine and a podcast under the I Am Unbreakable label. With eight business ventures to her name, the Toronto resident was the first woman in North America to own a private investigation and security agency, with clients including the Rolling Stones, U2 and World Wrestling Entertainment. She will kick off the conference on Thursday, Sept. 26, with a keynote on “Launching Your Rockstar Confidence."

Meet Allstate sourcing, procurement, supplier diversity and sustainability leaders at the 2024 Allstate Business Diversity Summit. The theme this year is Stakeholder Collaboration: United to Drive Economic Equity and Sustainability.
The event will be hybrid (virtual and in person),Oct. 7-10, 2024. The event brings together industry thought leaders to discuss making an impact by:
- Collaborating to empower diverse businesses to succeed.
- Reducing greenhouse gasses and emissions in communities.
- Raising awareness of relationship abuse.

The company held its first Minority and Women’s Supplier Fair in 1967. In 1973, after formalizing its Diversity Supplier Program, Allstate began hosting an annual Business Development Day.
