Our thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah for their $1200 grant in support of birthday parties for the YMCA Passage Point Shelter.

Part of the club's mission is, " to determine those needs of the community which, when satisfied, will enrich the community and enhance the quality of life for its residents, with special emphasis on supporting and enhancing youth, from ages birth to age 21 years."  
A shout out to Emerald Aire, Inc.

This Auburn-based HVAC company made a $1500 donation to Birthday Dreams to provide a Birthday-In-A- Box once a month, for a year!

The donation is a part of the company's "Aire Cares" initiative.

Do you haven a community outreach idea? Are you aware of a grant Birthday Dreams might be eligible for! Let us know ! As the saying goes, "It takes a village."
We are always looking for help, from gift wrappers and drivers to writers and graphic designers. Summers are of particular importance as schedules become unpredictable. Please consider sharing your time and talent. Let us know how you'd like to help.

Volunteer orientations will be held at the Birthday Dreams' office at 1084 Kirkland Ave NE in Renton on:

  • Tuesday, June 11 @ 6 PM
  • Saturday, June 15 @ 11 AM
  • Tuesday, July 9 @ 6 PM
  • Saturday, July 13 @ 11 AM

Join our Community Outreach Team ! We are looking for volunteers to attend day or evening events around the Puget Sound. Outreach volunteers guide teams of people from local businesses in assembling items that are used at our birthday parties. We also have outreach speaking opportunities. Interested? Birthday Dreams will host their 7th annual Gala on October 26 at 6 PM at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington. Please save the date and invite friends and family to do the same.
