The Community Builders Opens a Beautiful New Affordable/Supportive Housing Residence
On June 6th, The Community Builders and Unity House held a ribbon cutting for Tapestry on the Hudson (“Tapestry”), a new affordable and supportive housing residence in Troy.  The residence, a former collar factory, was converted into 67 apartments, including 19 supportive units primarily for families. On June 2nd, Leslie Abbey moved from her position as Lantern Community Services’ Chief Program Officer, where she oversaw clinical and specialty programming, human resources, performance evaluation and data systems, communications, and fundraising, to become Chief Operating Officer at Covenant House.
