On Wisconsin Singers!

Family (from Dreamgirls) has closed our show for many, many years. Thanks to the incredible support of our "family", we have done something that has NEVER been done before. Together, we raised nearly $111,000 - thank you, thank you, thank you!

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Friends of Wisconsin Singers, I can tell you that we are extremely grateful to those of you who partnered with us to achieve this ambitious but critical goal. By your giving, we hear this message: The Wisconsin Singers program is worthy of support. And thanks to your help, Friends of Wisconsin Singers will ensure that Singers continues today and into the future. We are appreciative of every gift, from $25 to $25,000.

And now we can move on to our 51st season. Auditions are done and a new troupe has been chosen for another stellar year of quality entertainment. The Wisconsin Singers 51st season premier will take the stage at Music Hall on September 2.

Friends will continue to keep all of you updated on Wisconsin Singers news and our 2018-2019 development goal.

Again, thank you for your generosity. On Wisconsin Singers!

SPOTLIGHT on Zach Schickert
(WS Trombone 2016-2019)

Despite a busy schedule touring with Wisconsin Singers as our trombonist extraordinaire, Zach is also serving as a Housefellow, guiding 64 freshmen through their first year on campus in Sellery Hall. "My role can be summed up in one word: resource. I help them academically, by pointing them towards available campus tools to help them succeed in the classroom and by offering advise. I help them emotionally, serving as someone they can talk to about problems without judgement. I help them professionally, organizing events to assist in their social, cultural, and career growth. I also work to keep Sellery a safe and positive learning environment. I love my job!"
