"America Celebrates 250 Years" Banners

You may have noticed the patriotic banners displayed throughout Town. These banners were uniquely designed to honor our nation’s history while reflecting the pride and spirit of Bermuda Run as we join communities across the country in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.

Pedestrian Pathway Update

Sidewalks are on the horizon, but the construction you are currently seeing is related to the completion of our stormwater project. Sidewalk construction should begin in approximately four months.

Monthly Message

As June arrives with warmer weather, open pools, and summer around the corner, we also welcome a new Mayor, a new Town Council Member, America 250
banners and celebrations, and more.

At its May 12 meeting, the Town Council appointed Rae Nelson as our new Mayor. Rae was elected to the Town Council in 2023. The Council also appointed Carson Jernigan as a new Council Member. Both Nelson and Jernigan will serve the remainder of current terms through the fall 2027 election. Carson will be sworn in to office at the June 9 Council Meeting. Drones as First Responders

“It’s literally the future of our support,” said Sheriff JD Hartman at the May Town Council meeting, describing a year-long initiative that positions drones to respond to calls up to 3.3 times faster than an officer can physically arrive on scene. For more information and a captivating video illustration, view Sheriff Hartman’s presentation here (about 12:30 in).
