June hors d'oeuvre party

Join us on Saturday, June 4th at 6:00 PM for our monthly hors d'oeuvre party! Please note the time change for the summer months to 6PM!

Come and enjoy the camaraderie of the evening. Bring your favorite dish to share. It's BYOB or donate to the fridge. Friends and new members are welcome. This is a great opportunity to show off our facilities to any folks interested in membership. No RSVP's necessary, just show up. See you all there!

Steak Fry: June 8 @ 5PM

Come one, come all to PCC’s annual Steak Fry! Please join the Porch Rats on Wednesday June 8th after the race and enjoy a delicious 8 oz Filet, grilled to absolute perfection by you, along with baked potato, tossed salad and garlic bread, Cost: $30.00 per person. Embellished tales of the day’s racing included at no extra charge.

Friends and Family Picnic:

July 2 @ 2PM

Our traditional Independence Day event with fun and games, along with burgers and hot dogs is scheduled for July 2nd. Fireworks raft up at the dam to top off the day. Please bring appetizers, side dishes, and desserts to share. Festivities kick off at 2pm and the cost is FREE!

Kids Day on the Bay

SAVE THE DATE: July 23, 2022 9AM

A mini-lesson and an opportunity to sail a small boat for our youngest members! We will discuss water safety and basic boating knowledge. Open to kids and grandkids of our members, ages 6 and up!

RSVPs are required for this event - registration link will be provided as the date approaches.

PCC Sailing School Updates

Our first school boat has been launched and is ready for the season! Our Flying Scot is a spacious and stable boat, great for beginners to get their first sail in! Let's get sailing!

Lots of work is getting done on all other small boats daggerboards and rudders. Wait till you see all these shiny Sunfish parts coming to the lake in the upcoming weeks!

Jerre Patterson update

Jerre Patterson is still recovering from his fall earlier this spring. He is still in quite a bit of discomfort and doing physical therapy a couple times a day. By the time of the writing of this Breeze hopefully Jerre is home. Unfortunately, it does not look like he will be sailing till late summer. Please continue to keep Jerre in your thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations Sofia!

Please join us in congratulating Sofia Gray on becoming a certified Lifeguard! Since most of our life revolves in or around water, it's good to have an extra set of eyes keeping watch.

This means she has also gone thru First Aid/CPR & AED training.
