With Fathers’ Day in June, let's give a shout-out to our high school students and OSY who are young fathers or play an important father-figure role in the lives of a child or children.
How can we best support the unique educational and instructional needs of students and youth who are fathers or play a father-figure role in the lives of others?
iSOSY’s Pathway Guides can be used as a platform to discuss high school equivalency diploma (HSED) and credentials and certification options with young fathers or any OSY ready for that next step.
Check out iSOSY’s Pathway Guides here. The guides are designed to help service providers support migratory students toward obtaining an HSED, no matter where they currently are in their academic journey. Each guide is organized by academic experience and takes into consideration important factors such as mobility, legal status, and language abilities. Using this resource, MEP service providers will be able to assist students regardless of different circumstances.
