Golden Bears, perhaps? Mustangs, or Trojans, or Longhorns? Service Learning
Face Shields for Seniors by BIOS
Students Grace Qin and Camella St-Pierre are part of a service learning group at Pacific Ridge School named BIOS (Bilingualism in Our Schools). They strive to spread bilingualism throughout San Diego, as well as raise awareness about the benefits of being bilingual. Especially during these unprecedented times, they hope to do their part by aiding local businesses in their efforts to reopen, as well as supporting senior centers, by supplying them with face shields. However to do so, they must first raise the money needed to make the face shields. Each one only costs about $1 so even a small donation has a lasting impact. To help their cause, please donate to their GoFundMe page.
