Thank you to all staff and parent volunteers for your help at the End of the Year Picnic yesterday! An extra big Dankeschön to the PTO for their financial support with this event. What a beautiful day we had to celebrate the end of the school year!
Summer Office Hours

During the summer the Front Office will have limited hours. The office will be open 10am-1pm from July 8 - August 9. Please note that the office will be closed July 1 - July 5. 
If you'd like to make an appointment with Administration, please contact the office during this time or email the administrator directly to set something up!  Have a great summer!!
Parent Powerschool  Report  Card Instructions

Parent access to grades and comments for the 2018-19 school year has been restored! To see the written progress of your student, please click this link  for instructions on how to view/print your child's report card. Kindergarten report cards were sent to parents via Email.
Host a German Teacher Next Fall During the 2-week Capstone Exchange

Katharina is seeking 4 host families for the German teachers who will accompany their 50 German students to our school next fall to participate in our Capstone Exchange. The teachers must have their own bedroom, but can share a bathroom. They should be able to get to/from school the same way your children do, and they may also be happy to bike or walk to/from school. The German students and teachers arrive Wed. Sept. 26 and depart on Thu. Oct. 10, 2019. Please  email Katharina  if you're interested in this short-term hosting opportunity! 
Health Office Update for Next Year

A little heads up from the Health Office for the coming school year:  If your child will need medication for the 2019-20 school year please find the information below:
  • For the administration of medication to a student during the school day we need written Medical Authorization of the Health care provider signed by the parent/guardian. Form can be found here.
  • Medication must be in original package, valid expiration date, labelled with students name.
  • At the Open night on Thursday, August 22nd, the school nurse, Frau Avery, will be available to receive the medication with the completed Authorization form.  
  • If you would like an appointment to drop off Medication/Authorization forms or plan how we can support your child during the school day please contact Frau Avery at [email protected] or by calling 651-492-7106 ext. 294.
Interested in the TCGIS Middle School Cross-Country Team  in Fall 2019 (incoming 5th-8th graders)?

A great season depends on a great off-season. Here is our  off-season / summer calendar with a few options for training in the off-season: races, camps, cross-training, etc. We will also have a few break-out runs. If interested, please fill out this  survey so we can email you the updates, including registration for the TCGIS XC team.

Our first pre-season (optional) cross-country practice will be on Monday, August 12. Time and place will be announced later through our email updates (sign up in the  survey). Our first whole team practice will be on the first day of school at 3:30 PM.

Registration will be in early August and will be announced in our email updates and the Elternbrief.  Practices (including pre-season optional practices) will be on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 PM - 5 PM.
