Family Challenge to Close   the Fundraising Gap!

Thanks to your donations we're only $11,000 from  our $100,000  fundraising goal which will help us fund teachers & staff professional development! We're challenging TCGIS families to ask THREE friends and family members to donate to TCGIS so they too can sport a  cool TCGIS  car magnet!! Simply point them to our  TCGIS Online Square Store . You can pick up magnets on behalf of your friends and family at the front office.

School Supplies 2018-19 - No Bulk Order!

Lengthy discussions throughout the year have made it clear that our office staff does not have the capacity to manage all of the materials centrally and that the importance of this to teachers was at best, mixed. With that in mind, please expect to check your child's grade level supply list and take it you your favorite school supply store...

Send any questions you may have to the Front Office at   [email protected]

Thank You 2017-18 Host Families!

We want to thank all of our host families this year for their hospitality, flexibility and  support. The intern program is one of the things that makes TCGIS special and the entire community is grateful to you and your family for giving an intern an American home. We hope you had a lot of fun and inspiration as well as great cultural experience for your entire family.
Herzlichen Dank, PTO!

Herzlichen Dank to all members of the PTO and all parents who have helped the PTO out throughout the year. The entire staff at TCGIS is so appreciative of the time, commitment, and dedication you all bring to the PTO and to our school! We most recently enjoyed a delicious lunch from the Foxy Falafel food truck on the final day of work this year. What a way to begin the summer!
Thank you to our Picnic Volunteers & Sponsors

Thank you to everyone who helped at this year's End of the Year Picnic! This community event is the biggest of the year and cannot happen without the help and support of our parents.

We would also like to thank our picnic sponsors: TCGIS PTO, Audi St. Paul, Larry
Mohr, President of the German American Chamber of Commerce, MN Chapter, and Dr. Stefanie Bauer, Life Ripples.

Thank you for your support!
Como Neighborhood Clean Up

On Friday, June 8, 2018 during 6th & 7th hour the whole TCGIS Middle School cleaned up the area around the TCGIS school building. From the McMurray Fields to the Como Zoo and from the TCGIS building to the Como Lake - our students were super busy to clean up our community. Some of the most "interesting" findings were headlights of a car, a soccer ball and a sign saying "Thin Ice" in the Como Lake as well as a bucket of chicken livers covered in maggots. The students were very surprised of the amounts of trash but also very proud of the work / support they did!
