The purpose of this Special Meeting is to adopt special rules for the election of the Ninth Bishop of Florida. The initial draft of these rules closed for comments on Wednesday, June 4, at 5 p.m. We thank all who submitted comments!
The final draft is now available via the buttons below; at the buttons, you will find both a “clean” copy of the rules and a copy that is marked to show additions and deletions made by the Standing Committee since we first shared the draft special rules on May 15.
The “clean” draft will be moved for approval at the start of the business portion of the June 14 meeting. Delegates will have the opportunity to propose amendments from the floor at the Special Meeting (if you have an amendment that you would like to propose, it would be a big help if you would submit it in advance to comments@diocesefl.org).
