St. Philip the Apostle School
Communication From the Principal
Summer 2020
Dear Parents,

Thank you for your responses to the Parent Survey. I've read every one of them and I appreciate your feedback. If you have not yet responded, here is the link.

Report cards are ready to be viewed on the portals for grade 1-8. TK and K report cards will be emailed to you If you wish a hard copy of your child's report card you can request one and we will send it to you later in the summer.

To view the report card, do the following;
1. Sign into your parent portal.
2. In the menu bar click "E-locker."
3. You will see the 2019/2020 3rd Trimester Report Card(s). You can download as a PDF by clicking the blue download arrow.

If you have any trouble, please contact Mr. Yniguez at  [email protected]

Supply lists are ready for next year and are posted on the website and the portals. Here is a link as well.

As you will see, we are asking each child to have a pencil bag/box for their own supplies so that there will be no sharing. Previously the younger students shared supplies but Covid conditions will require each child to have their own.

Camp Falcon is going to open this summer on a shortened schedule with a shorter day from July 6- 31. In order to have smaller groups we have to hire more staff so the cost has to remain the same. We will not be able to go on field trips or go swimming, however, we will be able to provide lots of freedom for our campers to play. We are limiting enrollment, in order to keep the groups small.

If you are interested, please complete and submit the attached paperwork. Those who previous submitted paperwork will need to do so again because the paperwork has changed to reflect Covid-19 conditions. If you previously submitted paperwork you will be given priority registration. Camp Falcon is open to students in grades K-8. Unfortunately, we cannot accept incoming TK students for Camp Falcon.

Have a wonderful week. I will let you know as soon as possible about how school will re-open in August.

Sincerely,
Jennifer
