“Come, Holy Spirit”
A blessing that has happened for me in the last 6 months is my joining the New Beginnings Inside Council.
I have been here at DWCF for 7 years. Before I commit to anything, I generally take time to process what that looks like so that I make God’s decision, not my own. Also, I want to be sure I’m capable of honoring those commitments.
After prayer and about 3 years of deep consideration, God impressed upon me a desire to servanthood within this Facility. That became a request then to be considered by Chaplain Terry. I told her I was ready and asked her to consider having me serve on the Inside Council.
I am so blessed to be a part of something so amazing, and to further the Kingdom of God. It has fed my spirit, given me much needed nourishment, and taught me to rely on God’s timing in all things.
Thank you for this ministry inside. Thank you for blessing me, Holy Spirit.
