The Illinois Housing Development Authority applauds the actions taken by President Biden and Governor Pritzker making Juneteenth National Independence Day both a Federal and State holiday. Although today is a legal holiday, the Illinois Open Meetings Act provides that a public meeting may be held on a legal holiday if the regular meeting day falls on the holiday. As such, per previously provided public notice, the Members of the Illinois Housing Development Authority will continue to conduct the regular monthly Board meeting today, June 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. The Audit Committee and the Finance Committee will also meet today per the previously provided public notice.
