From The Pastor's Desk...
With the summer months approaching, and folks traveling and being away, remember that our services are online and available no matter where you are - much like God's grace! And of course there will be local congregations wherever you travel - drop in for worship and see what helps you feel welcome and inspired there so you can come back and bring new ideas to your Church home here. Our services continue here during the summer on both Sunday mornings and Saturday evenings - how good it is to be back in our church building worshiping together!
Please keep reaching out to people you haven't seen in awhile. They may be worshipping online or they may be out of the habit. As we heard last Sunday, the Kingdom of God springs up wherever we spend our days, and even dormant seeds can burst into bloom when God's time is right. We are all new members in 2021 so know that you are welcomed, and be sure to reach out to remind others!
Peace,
Pastor Wendolyn
"Many people mistake our work for our vocation.
Our vocation is the love of Jesus." - Mother Theresa

LOL Mower Volunteers Needed!
The weather is warmer, the birds are singing, and the grass is growing. That means we will need to have our mowing brigade back at work! Once we have a list of volunteers, we will train all on the proper operation of the lawn tractor and create a mowing schedule.
If you are able to help out, please contact our grounds supervisor, Keith Lerner. A link to his email is provided below.
Sign-Up Sheet:
For anyone who is trained to use the mower, you can schedule a time when you would be able to cut the lawn. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board to the left of the church office entrance doorway.

New Front Doors Installed!
Our new church entry doors have been installed. They provide a more secure locking system as well as up to date insulation. They should provide many years of service for our church building.

A Message From Quilting Ministry Leader,
Gloria Brosious
Our 71 Quilts:
Blessed, Boxed, And
Scheduled For Delivery
During our worship services this past weekend, 71 completed quilts were displayed in the church Sanctuary and were blessed by Pastor during the service. On Tuesday, June 15th, the quilts were boxed and labeled. They will be delivered to the collection point at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Vineland next week. Thanks to Bob Brosious and Carolyn and Jim Cuviello, who helped me box the quilts and will assist in the delivery. Also, thanks to each and every one of you who donated needed materials, cut quilt squares and backings, and sewed the quilts together! Without a true team effort, this Ministry would not be possible.
|
|
Volunteers are needed to replenish our supply of scarves and afghans. They may be knitted or crocheted, and color does not matter. These items are given to our college students as they leave home for school. They are a little reminder that the congregation is praying for them while away. If you have questions or want to join in this ministry, please contact Penny Miller by email with any questions. A link is provided below.

|
If you were unable to attend, here are some photos of our June 5th Bunco gathering. The weather was too hot and humid to be outdoors so we moved into Fellowship Hall. The group definitely had some fantastic fun and fellowship!
There will be other Bunco events in the future. Hope you will join us!
