Join us for our monthly Taizé Service this Sunday, June 22, at 4:00 p.m. This peaceful, candlelit service features simple chants, scripture, and silent prayer in a quiet, reflective setting. Taizé services are designed to be inclusive, peaceful, and spiritually nourishing, making them especially meaningful for those seeking rest and renewal in the midst of a busy world. All are welcome. Come as you are and experience the stillness.

We will collect non-perishable items (no glass) for our neighbors through Tempe Community Action Agency this Sunday, June 22. Donations may be left on the benches at the front gate to be collected and delivered to TCAA following Sunday's services. Prayer Shawl Ministry meets at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays in the Fellowship Hall - or on the patio, weather permitting! All knitters and crocheters age 7th grade and older are welcome to participate. Yarn and patterns are available. This ministry is growing and we need more people making shawls and blankets. Please email Susan Staley with questions. 

Join your Valley neighbors at a People’s Hearing about extreme weather on Thursday, June 26, 6 to 8 p.m., at South Mountain Community College. Local leaders, scientists, activists, and health experts will share their stories about the impact of extreme weather and the current rollbacks of climate protections. Attendees will have the chance to share stories and learn what we can do about it. Refreshments will be provided. RSVP or learn more here.

Our sister church, Iglesia Aliento (701 S. 1st Street, Phoenix) is in need of volunteers at their Summer Camp -- especially from 9:30-10:30am, for the reading session! Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Those 18 and older must undergo a background check. Reading to these kids helps build confidence, imagination, and a sense of stability—things every child needs! Learn more/sign up

Do you love to sing? If you’ve ever wanted to sing with the Dayspring Choir, summer is the perfect time to jump in. Our Summer Choir sings at the 10:00am service on the first and third Sundays of the month—with no weekday rehearsals! Just come at 9:20am on the morning of the service to learn the song and warm up. Please bring in water bottles, electrolyte drinks, and nutritional snacks to support Tempe Cooling Centers this 2025 summer. We're also collecting hygiene products, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, socks, board games and books.

We are collecting Rice and Canned Meats for City Hope Center during the month of June. City Hope Center is a community outreach organization dedicated to providing essential resources and support to individuals and families in need. Operating every Saturday morning, the center offers a grocery store-style experience where guests can access food, hygiene products, and clothing at no cost.
