Enhancing education through the appropriate use of technologies for all educators in New York State.

  • Today, NYSCATE honors Juneteeth. Juneteenth is a day to recognize and reflect on the importance of freedom and the strength of those who fought for it. It marks the moment when the last enslaved people in the U.S. learned they were free, and it’s a time to honor that history and celebrate resilience, progress, and community.

  • I am getting so excited about our upcoming Golf Tournament in July!! I have been receiving packages almost daily with raffle prizes and giveaways. This event is near and dear to my heart as well as the NYSCATE mission. If you are on the fence about signing up - trust me, this is a fun event at a phenominal location with awesome people. Not to mention all of the proceeds benefit our classroom grant program! Now that is a WIN-WIN!

  • Last night we held a meetup in Oneonta at Brooks BBQ! Amy Shanahan and I attended and it was well worth the drive! We had a great showing of members and the presenters were on point with sharing tips and tricks. The BBQ was great, but the networking as even better! Thank you to Jack Etter and Tarkan Ceng for organizing and to our friends from Trafera for sponsoring dinner. A wonderful night was had by all!
