Miscellaneous - The Board approved the following miscellaneous items, licenses, vouchers, and contracts.

  • Meeting minutes from May 14, 2024
  • $3,000 transfer request from Planning Department
  • $61,127 change order with Gilbane Building Company related to the Driscoll School project
  • $178,000 amendment with Miller Dyer Spears for environmental and traffic engineering related to the Pierce School project.
  • $825 change order with Leftfield for public advertising related to the Pierce School project.
  • $19,800 change order with BR+A Consulting Engineers for building envelope monitoring and testing related to the Driscoll School project.
  • $21,874 ARPA reallocation to Fire Department radio upgrades funding
  • Temporary alcohol license to The Larz Anderson Auto Museum June 7, 2024 from 12:00PM – 7:00PM

The Board heard public comment and briefly discussed the Article 10 budget amendment.


The Board discussed and voted to transmit to the General Court, the Home Rule Petition passed by Town Meeting relating to the installation of geothermal wells at Pierce Playground.
